Kletterling care instructions: How to keep the climbing equipment beautiful for a long time

Caring for your climbing frame is easier than you think. Thanks to the use of natural wood, our climbing equipment is not only free of harmful substances but also easy to clean and maintain. Here's how to remove unwanted stains and preserve the wood's natural beauty.

No oil or varnish

We recommend not oiling the natural wood of your climbing frame. No varnishes or dyes are used in its production anyway. This ensures the material remains safe, and your child can experience the texture and scent of the wood directly—an important aspect for developing a healthy connection to nature.

Easily remove stains by sanding

If any annoying stains appear on your climbing frame over time, they can be easily removed. Use fine-grain sandpaper (e.g., 320 grit) and gently sand the affected area. If necessary, you can also sand an entire rung or other parts of the frame evenly. Don't worry: The climbing fun will remain, and the wood will only be slightly refreshed.

Handcrafted for quality and safety

Our climbing frames are lovingly handcrafted. Each piece is carefully sanded to ensure a smooth and splinter-free surface. Thanks to this gentle processing without the use of chemicals, your climbing frame is a safe and healthy play item for your child right from the start.
