Climbing Frame Care Instructions: How to Keep the Climbing Equipment Beautiful for a Long Time

Caring for your climbing frame is easier than you might think. Thanks to the use of untreated wood, our climbing equipment is not only free of harmful substances but also easy to clean and maintain. Here you will learn how to remove bothersome stains and preserve the natural beauty of the wood.

Avoiding Oils and Varnishes

We recommend not oiling the untreated wood of your climbing frame. Varnishes or dyes are not used in the manufacturing process anyway. This keeps the material safe, and your child can directly experience the texture and scent of the wood – an important aspect for developing a healthy connection to nature.

Easy Stain Removal by Sanding

If bothersome stains appear on your climbing frame over time, they can be easily removed. Use a fine-grained sandpaper (e.g., grit 320) and gently treat the affected area. If needed, you can also sand an entire rung or other parts of the equipment evenly. Don’t worry: the climbing fun remains, and the wood is only lightly refreshed.

Handcrafting for Quality and Safety

Our climbing frames are lovingly handmade. Each part is carefully sanded to ensure a smooth and splinter-free surface. Thanks to this gentle processing without the use of chemicals, your climbing frame is a safe and healthy plaything for your child from the very start.
