Why is no sand included?

To offer maximum flexibility: Many parents already use existing play sand or special therapy sands. We recommend high-quality sensory sand or special flowing sand.

Note: River sand can impair light diffusion.

What other materials are suitable?

All natural materials from the kitchen, such as lentils, rice, or pasta. Kinetic sand or similar. Moist materials can also be used for a short time.

Does the table really help with ADHD?

Sensory play has been shown to reduce hyperactive impulses. The Wonder Sand BLUE was developed based on the methods of Kalff, Jung, Neumann, and Lowenfeld and integrates elements of Zen Buddhism. At its core is a free, protected space where children can shape their inner images in the sand.

Can I use regular sandbox sand?

No, we recommend pollutant-free, free-flowing play sand that feels soft when dry and is well moldable when moist. It should neither be dusty nor too coarse-grained.
